Our Story
From humble beginnings in 1988 on the site of the Burns Beach Caravan Park, Burns Beach cafe evolved to the now well renowned Sistas Burns Beach. In March of 2022 we expanded to the idyllic settings of the Mindarie Marina as a fully licensed cafe and restaurant in the site once occupied by the Dome. After many months of remodelling, we transformed the space to a bright airy Hamptons style venue continuing to serve the famous Sistas Burns Beach breakfast menu whilst also expanding to provide a sophisticated , fully licensed dining experience ideal for long lunches ,dinners or even your next private event. Jason and the team look forward to welcoming you to experience our exquisite service, food and wine.
We’re not changing the world here – and we don’t wish to. We love a good public house where anyone can pull up a stool and strike up a conversation, or read the newspaper over a pint. A place that’s comfortable, welcoming, relaxed, yet always moving, and not afraid to combine the new with the old. That’s Besk.
You won’t find any tomatoes in winter, or celeriac in summer; the menu is focused on seasonality and availability, highlighting the finest ingredients from our favourite farmers and producers. And our taps and shelves constantly alternate depending on our moods.
